Naomi Redel, born in Jerusalem in 1965, is a mother of two and a gifted photographer whose artistic journey is deeply intertwined with her personal history. Losing her father in the Six-Day War at the tender age of 18 months profoundly shaped her life and artistic vision. Her diverse intellectual pursuits include a second degree in economics and business administration from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, complemented by four years of art studies at the prestigious Minshar Art Academy.

Naomi's introduction to photography began during her military service, where she served as an army photographer. This early experience laid the foundation for her distinctive approach to staged photography, where she weaves together the threads of memory, emotion, and history. Her work captures the silent echoes of the past, presenting artifacts, structures, and meticulously constructed scenes that convey the delicate balance between vulnerability and resilience.

Naomi’s photography is a visual exploration of a young woman’s journey to find her inner strength, framed through the lens of loss, identity, and recovery. Her art is not merely an aesthetic endeavor but a profound means of storytelling that invites viewers to pause and reflect on the layers of meaning behind each image.

Beyond her artistic endeavors, Naomi is also dedicated to empowering others through creativity. Drawing from her personal experiences as a war orphan, she offers resilience training workshops designed to help Israelis navigate challenges and build emotional strength. Through her unique blend of photography and resilience coaching, Naomi Redel continues to inspire others to find beauty and courage in the face of adversity.
